The Power of Trusting Your Body
Pincha Mayurasana is not just a pose: it’s a conversation between your breath, your courage, and your ability to hold yourself.
In this workshop, we’ll explore much more than forearm balance. We invite you to discover what happens when the body, mind, and energy align with intention, deep listening, and playfulness.
What Will You Explore?
Pincha Mayurasana, also known as the forearm peacock pose, is one of the most challenging and empowering asanas in yoga. In this workshop, we’ll go far beyond the technique: we’ll dive into the inner journey of surrendering to the process, cultivating patience, inhabiting the body with awareness, and trusting the breath that sustains you.
You’ll have multiple opportunities to practice the pose throughout the session, allowing you to integrate each step with presence, curiosity, and deep respect for your own rhythm.

Led by Cristina Jiménez
Yoga teacher and breathwork facilitator with over 10 years of experience. Cristina discovered yoga at the age of 17 after an accident that nearly cost her a leg. Since then, yoga has been her tool for physical, emotional, and spiritual healing. She has trained in multiple styles (vinyasa, dharma, yin, Katonah, among others) and has led more than 50 retreats.
Her teaching focuses on the breath as a bridge to awareness, embodiment, and presence. In this workshop, Cristina weaves together her knowledge of breath techniques and emotional release to offer a complete experience—from physical foundations to internal expansion.
A safe space to explore without judgment, where every body finds its own way to express this pose through listening—not through striving.
