Atalanta began studying yoga in India in 2012. Since then, she has learned from teachers of various yoga traditions and has delved into other movement and somatic embodiment practices. Throughout her journey, she has integrated knowledge from different disciplines, enriching her personal approach. Additionally, her experience as a Thai massage therapist significantly influences her classes, viewing each session as a form of self-massage.
In her classes, you can expect a fluid and vigorous practice where you’re invited to deeply listen to your body’s impulses and move freely through playful yet carefully crafted sequences. Her teaching focuses on allowing each person to connect with themselves, finding freedom in movement and exploring the possibilities within each posture.
As idealistic as it may sound, Atalanta genuinely believes in the revolutionary power of yoga. The more connected we are to our bodies, the greater the decisions we can make to bring about change in this world.
Jivamukti teacher, certified 800 hours in Jivamukti and Trauma-Sensitive Yoga at the Radika Foundation. Originally from Barcelona, she discovered the discipline of yoga in 2017, but it wasn’t until late 2019 that Jivamukti crossed her path and she realized that this method was aligned with her heart. Yoga has changed her perspective and the way she acts toward animals, humans, and nature, sharing this path of teachings and wisdom, thus expanding everything necessary to live with compassion for everything around us. The practice sets us free.
I’m Cristina Jiménez, a natural therapist, yoga teacher, and breathwork facilitator. My journey in yoga began at the age of 17 when, after attending a class with my mother, I felt that yoga was the perfect complement to my background in dance and natural therapies. Just two years earlier, I had been in an accident that nearly cost me a leg, and through yoga, I gradually regained mobility. The transformation I experienced went beyond the physical, helping me calm a hyperactive mind, manage anxiety, overcome an eating disorder, and address health issues such as hypothyroidism and SIBO, as well as release traumas like bullying and abuse.
I started practicing Kundalini yoga for seven years, focusing on meditation, mantras, and breathing techniques. Later, I explored other styles, including Iyengar, Hatha, and Vinyasa, the latter of which I decided to train in due to its dynamic approach. Since then, I’ve delved into various practices such as Jivamukti, Dharma, Rocket, Ashtanga, Yin Yoga, Nidra, Restorative, and Katonah Yoga. I’ve always complemented my practice with therapies centered on energy management, emotional release, mental focus, and spiritual connection, including the Inbreath technique.
Since 2014, I’ve been teaching yoga full-time, leading over 50 retreats and conducting thousands of classes. I’ve collaborated in teacher training as an expert in breathwork, mythology, adjustments, sequencing, and mentorship, and I currently co-direct Yin Yoga and Somatic Yoga training. In my classes, the breath is the central focus, aiming to expand awareness, connect with the body, and cultivate deep and pleasurable breathing. My teaching philosophy is grounded in self-respect, permission to simply be, and daily reflection, guiding my students toward holistic and integral health.
Diletta understands the practice of yoga as a way to deepen awareness and respect, cultivate stability and resilience, and embrace creativity and play.
Through the Jivamukti Yoga method, her goal is to create an inspiring environment that allows each individual to fully develop through the practice.
The Jivamukti Yoga method, created in New York in 1984, aims to integrate traditional yoga practices into contemporary life while preserving the essence of ancient philosophical teachings. The method is rooted in the original Sanskrit meaning of the word asana as “seat” or “connection,” emphasizing the relationship with the earth and all beings. It is taught as a spiritual activation, offering the modern yogi a creative approach to living in today’s world.
I was born in Russia, where I studied acting at the Theater and Film Institute. In 2012, I visited a friend living in Barcelona, and from that moment, my heart has remained here forever.
I have trained in various yoga styles, including Ashtanga Vinyasa, Jivamukti, and Yin Yoga, learning from renowned teachers in each discipline. Currently, in addition to teaching regular classes, I also offer Yin Yoga and Hatha Vinyasa teacher trainings.
For me, the practice of yoga is an inward journey—a way to better understand oneself. From that inner connection, we can lead a more conscious, fulfilled, and joyful life, fully enjoying the present moment.
Natalia Rosales, nurse and certified 400-hour yoga teacher.
My journey with yoga began in Chile, during a time of personal crisis and a constant search for fulfillment in my life. It was through a close friend that I discovered the practice of yoga, where for the first time I was able to connect with my breath in a deep and meaningful way. The sensations of calm, peace, tranquility, and joy that I experienced were unique and transformative. Yoga became my refuge and a way of life—a philosophy that helped me piece together the puzzle of my own being.
In 2018, I arrived in Barcelona to begin my training at Mandiram Yoga, where I became certified as a Vinyasa Yoga teacher and found my true passion: sharing the transformative benefits of yoga with others. I’ve complemented my training with modules in sequencing and adjustments, Pre & Postnatal Yoga, and Therapeutic Yoga.
I’ve led hundreds of yoga classes in Barcelona and currently teach full-time in studios, companies, private and group classes, workshops, and events. I have also participated as a trainer in the 200-hour Online Teacher Training at Mandiram Yoga and in the Level II Training for yoga teachers.
In my classes, I like to create a space of care and connection, inviting students to experience dynamic sequences that coordinate movement and breath in fluid and harmonious ways. I offer adjustments and different variations to meet each student’s individual needs. Each class is a unique journey toward calm, balance, and awareness, blending flowing postures with moments of slow movement to encourage self-observation.
Since childhood, I have felt a deep curiosity about spirituality; the concept of energy has always fascinated me.
In my teenage years, I met Master Iee Youl Kim Kim and discovered the discipline of Taekwondo, a martial art that combines various kicking techniques while promoting physical health, breathwork, concentration, and meditation.
My yoga journey began with the practice of asanas (postures), exploring Hatha yoga out of curiosity. Some time later, I attended a guided Ashtanga class. That day, I realized I had found a style of yoga I truly wanted to dive deeper into.
Since then, I have practiced Ashtanga yoga daily and had the incredible opportunity to travel to India several times to train as a teacher in Hatha, Vinyasa, and Ashtanga yoga. Learning, understanding, and deepening my knowledge of meditation, pranayama, and asana practice in such a “powerful” place has brought me immense joy.
When I returned to Barcelona, I began teaching classes with the goal of sharing this knowledge. I also met my teacher, Elena Figarola, with whom I continue to practice daily.
My aim in every session we share in the shala is to understand how to approach asanas (postures) while also learning how to remain absorbed in the present moment, finding mental balance. We achieve this through mindful breathing and concentration, purifying the body and aligning the spine, while simultaneously balancing the nervous system and the mind.Originally from Russia, Dinara fell in love with Barcelona in 2012. She has trained in Ashtanga, Jivamukti, and Yin Yoga and now offers classes and workshops in Yin and Hatha Vinyasa. Yoga, for Dinara, is a path to self-connection and mindful living.
I’m Valeria Figueroa, a Venezuelan yoga teacher based in Barcelona for the past 9 years. I enjoy a simple, slow life, nature, singing, my dog, and yoga.
I offer fun and challenging Hatha Raja sessions, as well as deeply calming and restorative sessions with Restorative Yoga, Yin Yoga, and healing sounds.
My practice is diverse, as it supports me in different ways throughout life. I incorporate mantras, pranayamas, and Yoga Nidra to experience aspects of the practice that go beyond the physical body.
