This workshop has been created to guide you with calm and awareness on the path toward Hanumanasana (Monkey Pose), integrating progressive physical work with inner exploration.
Through movement, breath, and the symbolism of this posture, we will connect with the spirit of Hanuman: the devotion, faith, and courage needed to take great leaps — on the mat and in life.
What will we explore during the workshop?
- Improving flexibility in the legs, hips, and inner thighs.
- Progressive sequences that bring you safely and respectfully closer to Hanumanasana, adapted to your body.
- The relationship between breath, mindful attention, and muscular opening.
Workshop Structure
- Symbolic Opening: Creation of a small altar and introduction to the story of Hanuman.
- Pranayama: Nadi Shodhana to balance mind and energy.
- Warm-up: Joint mobility, dynamic stretches, and Sun Salutations.
- Main Sequence: A fluid vinyasa practice focused on hip and leg opening, technical work toward Hanumanasana, with personalized adjustments.
- Guided Meditation: Focused on trust and moving beyond perceived limitations.
- Ritual Closing: Personal intention setting and deep relaxation.
